35mL Anno Coffee Liqueur

50mL Anno Owler Dark Spiced Rum

25mL Espresso

Ice

METHOD:

Pour all of the ingredients including ice into a cocktail shaker. Chill the martini glass with a little ice. Shake the cocktail shaker hard until some of the ice breaks up. Strain over empty glass and garnish with coffee beans.

We mark her final days with the scurvy grass of Out Stack, where she would travel to be under the same Northern Lights as her husband, Sir John Franklin, lost on his quest for the Northwest Passage: one warm line through the frozen wilds, finally discovered accidentally during one of the expeditions to find him.
